Product Shot Assessment Blog Who is the client, or company you are representing? The company I'm going to be representing  in my product shot assessment is Nike, one of the biggest sporting brands in the world, and also one of the most iconic sporting brands in history with signature worn all over the world. But in this case it's Nike's sneaker department i'll be representing. What is the product? The product I'll be taking product shots for will be a pair of Nike's most iconic pair of sneakers that people have been wearing since the 90's, which is the classic Air Force 1's, however there not their plain white pair, it's a custom pair with all the colors you could think of. This product shot is of Burger Kings new meat free burger the "Rebel Whopper", I really like this product shot because it's promoting something I believe in, also the contrast of colours works well. It's also still burger kings signature product shot but instead of a normal white background it's green which is associated with vegetables or being a vegetarian/vegan. This product shot is of a pair of the most iconic sneakers ever made by nike or by any other sports brand. The shoes ae so simple but look amazing. In this shot they used a white background along with the white foreground(product) and the shoes still staand out. I think their making a point af something so basic can be so effective. This is a product shot of the Tesla Model X p100D electric car. The lighting in this photo loooks amazing, since everything is dark with the lighting it allows you to see all the curves and features of the car. Showing...

Portrait Photograph (25 words)

"Afghan Girl"  Photographer: Steve McCurry This portrait was taken in 1985 of a young small Afghan girl which then became the cover of  The National Geographic magazine in 1985. I like this portrait because it is one of thousands of photos that actually portrays whats happening at the current moment the photo was taken. The picture shows the girls emotion as she stares directly through the camera. The torn red scarf hanging over her face makes the portrait both gritt and glamour. There is also an amazing contrast between her green eyes and the red scarf.

Lab 01: Flash Photography

Image
This was the first photo taken for this labs exercise on flash compensation and exposure compensation.  This was the second photo I chose to use, the flash compensation in this photo was around +5, and the exposure was +1. This last photo was taken with the same flash and exposure settings as picture 2 just in a different setting. Learning to use the light in my favour was the most challenging part of this labs exercise.
